How to cook

Plating & presentation

Arrange the bruschetta on a long wooden board or a large flat plate, slightly overlapping. Finish with a final scatter of fresh basil, a drizzle of your best olive oil, and a pinch of flaky salt. Serve within 2 minutes of topping to keep the bread crisp.

Dana's tip

Salt the diced tomatoes 10 minutes ahead and drain off the excess liquid before topping — this stops the bread going soggy and concentrates the tomato flavour beautifully.
